Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing well, and if you're back in class like I am... I hope you're surviving. I don't know about anyone else, but I have been drowning in homework. For some reason this semester all of my professors are trying to make life as miserable as possible, and let me tell you, they are succeeding! Okay, most depressing semester ever aside, I found myself with a little extra time this week. A friend and I went on a little shopping spree, and I found this dress! I usually would not wear something like this, but after trying it on, I just had to get it. 

I have really been loving the choker trend lately, but I haven't really found any chokers that I like. So, when I saw this dress and the choker neckline it has going on, I decided to give it a try. I am SO glad I did, because this is my new favorite dress! For starters, it is the comfiest dress I have ever worn; It's super light weight and flowy, and the fabric is soooo soft. In addition to comfiness, this dress is extremely flattering. Also, BONUS, it's my favorite color! So yeah, you could definitely say this is one of the best dresses ever. 

As soon as I decided to buy this dress, my little fashion obsessed mind started racing with different ways to wear it. For this post, I decided to pair it with a floppy hat and open-toe booties. In case you haven't noticed yet, I am OBSESSED with floppy hats. They are the perfect fall accessory in my opinion. I would say they are my favorite fall accessory, but I love blanket scarves just a little bit more - I cannot wait until it gets cool enough to wear them! Okay but back to this dress, I think it would look so cute paired with a denim jacket, either tied around the waist or just worn normally. You could also tie a flannel around the waist and that would be just as cute!

Okay y'all, I just needed to take a moment to show some love for one of my favorite people in the world, my best friend Samantha. This girl and I have been best friends since forever (the second grade to be exact) and we have been together through everything. I honestly might not be who I am today if it wasn't for this girl, and let me tell you, without Sam, I definitely would not have this blog. Sam is the genius behind most of these photos, and with every photoshoot we have, there are a ton of gorgeous photos of her that don't get enough love. Summer is officially over, which makes me kind of sad because now i'll have to go back to real life and real responsibilities which is not fun. Similar Dress | Denim Jacket | Sandals | Watch Omg y'all, I have been looking for a little striped dress like this for the longest time and I am so glad I finally found one! I absolutely adore dresses like this because they are simple and perfect for dressing wither up or down. You can also wear a dress like this about a million ways so I'd absolutely consider this a wardrobe staple. This would be a great item to add to your 'back to school' shopping lists!
